Playtime New York Children's Fashion Trade Show: August 1-3 Metropolitan Pavilion

This was my first time at Playtime New York, and it was such an amazing show! There were more than 150 American and international children's brands exhibiting at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York city from August 1-3 2015. I got to checkout SS16 collection of some of my favorite brands and got introduced to many new ones. Being surrounded by incredible talent and creativity the entire weekend was truly inspiring!

In my two days at the show, I tried to meet and chat with as many designers and brands as possible, but I missed connecting with some fabulous brands that I would love to check out next time. I obviously took a lot of pictures, and I'll let the pictures do the talking for the most part.

I'll start with this beautiful mural in the trend space created by artist Polina Soloveichik.

My first stop was Pom d'Api and their shoes are just amazing. I usually have a very tough time finding good looking and comfortable shoes for my girls. I think Pom d'Api might be the answer. From trendy sandals to sporty shoes, this French brand has something in store for every kid no matter what activity level.

Love the prints and sorbet colors of this collection by French brand Blue Comme Gris.

Soft colors, beautiful cottons, and simple sophistication by Chakra Design Studio.

Hello Simone is a French brand with Africa-inspired collection. With beautiful colors and motifs, their collection looks really promising.

MAA' has a great collection of fun and stylish shoes.

Coconuts and vacation dreams at Oaks of Acorn.

Beautiful graphics and pastels, and soft and comfortable cottons by TEN.

From soft shades to bright yellows, Livly had a wide array of lovely clothing and accessories for the wee ones.

Little Creative Factory had me at linen. Their collection and designs have such elegance!

Beautiful graphics and colors by Raspberry Plum are so refreshing!

Summery prints and rainforest-themed collection by Kids the Frog.

NYC-based Tiny Little Dream had a amazing collection of organic handmade dolls and blankets.

Abstract prints and beautiful designs by California-based Ultra Violet Kids

A great mix of solids and prints by Je suis en CP!

Last but not least. Loved the collection of California-based Quite Contraire. The beautiful and soft fabrics, sophisticated designs, and eclectic details make the collection stand out.
